A TRIBUTE TO OUR ARMED FORCES
I wanted to personally take the opportunity to thank the men and women of our Armed Forces, not only in Afghanistan, but all over the world, for their willingness to sacrifice their time away from their families, friends and loved ones, and put their lives on hold. And at times even putting their very lives at risk to make men free. We thank you all, and may God bless and be with each of you as you do what you are doing. We the PEOPLE thank you, and love you for your great courage and sacrifice on our behalf.
These are but a few of the dedicated men and women of America's Armed Forces. I'm proud to say my son is among them. Let's remember them always in our prayers to almighty God, as we sleep snug in our nice warm beds, knowing these are the people who make that possible. And Jesus is the one giving them the strength to do what they need to do, and he protects them, and us. It's all Jesus, and none of ourselves.
Real men aren't afraid to pray, and because of men and women like these, we live in a Free country and are FREE to worship Jesus Christ who is God, and to speak the name of Jesus, creator of heaven and earth, and to teach others of HIS great love for them.
And remember too that wherever you may find yourself in this world, no matter how far from home you may be, Jesus is right there with you. Just speak to him, and he will hear you, because he loves you! He gave himself for you, so that he might live his life in you.
Our Prayer For Our Troops
'Lord, hold our troops in your loving hands. Protect them as they protect us. Bless them and their families for their selfless acts. Amen.'
